Ardno House
is an adult only, Visit Scotland 4 Star Gold Bed and Breakfast near Ballachulish, and member of Scotland’s Best B&Bs, only 5 minutes’ drive from Glen Coe, one of Scotland's most idyllic locations. This beautifully appointed accommodation nestles at the foot of a wooded mountain, with wonderful views over Loch Linnhe and the hills beyond.
Your hosts Robert and Morag have a passion for quality, comfort, attention to detail and unequalled customer satisfaction. A friendly welcome and personal touch await you.
All 4 large and comfortable bedrooms are fitted to a very high standard with quality king-size beds, spacious ensuite private facilities with complimentary bathroom toiletries from the Highland Soap Company, TV, free Wi-Fi access, hairdryer, USB charging points, silent mini fridge, hospitality tray and home baking.
Guests can enjoy relaxing in the first-floor lounge and can often watch a glorious sunset over the loch.
Start your day with one of Robert's acclaimed full Scottish cooked breakfasts with plenty of choice for vegetarians, vegans and other diets. Oatcakes, shortbread, jams and marmalades, bacon and Lorne sausage are all homemade on the premises. From the breakfast room, you can watch some of the many garden birds, maybe spot a red squirrel and even an occasional pine-marten.
There is ample private free off-road parking for cars and if you want to stretch your legs there is a great walk behind the house with panoramic views across the loch and another along the Lochside cycle path in front of the house. Watch out for deer on the hill and otters and seals in the loch.
We regret we cannot accept guest’s pets. We have our own dog “Maddy” who is not allowed in the guest accommodation.
Please note that Ardno House is not well served by public transport or taxi services, and we strongly advise that guests have their own vehicle to make the most of their stay with us.
