Ardno House is easy to find: Situated beside the red telephone box on the A828 Oban road 1½ miles south of the Ballachulish Bridge, between Glencoe and Appin. Travel directions are noted below. NB. If using a satnav please note that it may tell you that you have arrived at your destination when you really need to go just a hundred yards or so further.

FROM GLASGOW (95 miles)
Take the M8 west to Greenock and exit at J30 Erskine Bridge. Cross bridge and bear left onto A82. Continue on A82 following signs for Loch Lomond, Crianlarich and Fort William. At Tarbert turn right on A82. Continue to Crianlarich and turn left. At Tyndrum bear right on A82 to Glencoe/Ballachulish. At the roundabout after Ballachulish take the 2nd exit A828 (Oban coastal route). Proceed approx. 2 miles. After a series of bends you will see a red telephone box on the left hand side. The entrance to Ardno House is immediately before the box.

FROM EDINBURGH (123 miles)
Take the M9 to Stirling. At J10 take A84 exit signed Callandar / Crianlarich. Continue on A84 through Callandar to Crainlarich and continue on to Tyndrum. From Tyndrum follow instructions as above from Glasgow

FROM INVERNESS (79 miles)
Take the A82 to Fort William. Pass through Fort William staying on the A82 until you cross the Ballachulish bridge, At the first roundabout after the bridge take the first exit onto the A828 signed Oban, Proceed approx. 2 miles. After a series of bends you will see a red telephone box on the left hand side. The entrance to Ardno House is immediately before the box.

FROM OBAN (29 miles)
Follow the A828 signed Fort William for about 29 miles and look out for a red telephone box on the right hand side. The entrance to Ardno House is immediately after the box.
